Seafair is famous for not only its airshow aspect, but its hydroplane racing as well. All the events take place on, or above, lake Washington. Large log booms are placed in the lake for boats to tie to in order to enjoy the festivities. Here families and friends gather on their boats and party between rounds of hydroplane racing.

Here future Olympic Medalists David Boudia and Nick McCrory perform a dive in Federal Way, WA during the US Olympic Team Diving Trials in 2012. They went on to win this event, and eventually a bronze in the 2012 London Summer Olympic Games.

DJ Akonite was one of many DJs at High Line in the spring of 2013 for a club event called "Get Rammed". Akonite is from Vancouver Canada and entertains up and down the west coast.

In whiteout conditions we dropped into the valley beside Valle Nevado for some powder turns during a storm day. While the visibility was fairly terrible, though members of the group were familiar enough with the terrain to navigate easily back up and out of the valley to the ski area. It was certainly an adventure.

Opening day at Snoqualmie Pass is a bit of a madhouse. Usually, it is only Snoqualmie West that opens, a small segment of the 4-part area. Still it draws quite a crowd. The Pass does their best to accommodate everyone, including setting up a small, temporary jib park at the bottom of the mountain.
